The Mamusa Art Gallery has announced a change of exhibit. It is entitled: “As You Start to Paint, the Painting Paints Itself”, an exhibition of works by one of Iloilo’s notable figures in contemporary art, Rock Drilon.
Rock as he is called is a Dumangasanon who studied Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines in Diliman under the mentorship of National Artist Jose Joya. He is part of a generation of Filipino artists whose works shaped the Philippines contemporary art as we known today.
Rock Drilon has presented his works in numerous exhibitions in Iloilo City since comeback. The show As You Start to Paint will be Mamusa’s introductory exhibit for 2020. It will open on January 7, 2020 (Tuesday) at 7:00 P.M.
