The Philippine Institute of Arbitrators

The “PIArb” as it is known is the first learned society in the Philippines dedicated to both promoting private dispute resolution within the country and pursuing initiatives to enable the country to serve as a viable and practical venue for private dispute resolution.

They envision the use of arbitration and other modes of dispute resolution other than resolution by a court as the primary means of resolving conflict in the Philippines.

Their aim is to promote awareness, education, and programs on private dispute resolution policy and practice.

The PIArb has organized a series of webinars in Western Visayas Region and in other regions since 2020 on topics ranging from the ADR spectrum, commercial arbitration, and construction arbitration, among others, to empower participants on alternative modes of dispute resolution.
