Sugilánun is a Hiligaynon word which means conversation or discussion. It is also used to describe sharing of stories or a discussion of a particular topic.

In this show, Sugilánun will instead come in the form of paintings as young artists render in canvas the concerns, perspectives, and musings of the youth. The collection invites viewers for a conversation and discussion through an array of topics from mental health, gender equality, sexism, the collision of truth and fantasy, the immortalization of sentimentality, and the search for strength in adversity.

Among participating artists are the following: Carmelo Getuya Camohoy III, Bobby Dela Cruz, Kimpoy Dela Cruz, Bea Gison, Kirby Guirhem Majaque, and Zippy Saint Thomas

Catch up and see their works at Book Latté at the Ground Floor Festivewalk Parade, Megaworld Iloilo Business Park.
