Cebu Pacific Air has achieved impressive growth in Iloilo due to increased seat capacity, larger fleet, wider network, and improved passenger experience.
The improved seat capacity at the Iloilo International Airport yielded an 84% year-on-year increase. The airline’s capacity rose from 136,000 seats in January 2024 to nearly 250,000 seats in January 2025, showcasing its expanding presence and growing demand in the region.
Cebu Pacific President and Chief Commercial Officer, Xander Lao, shared that over 1.1 million travelers to and from Iloilo and across 14 domestic and international routes was served by the fleet in 2024, showing a solidified its position as an airline with the widest network coverage in the City of Love.
The growth is credited to increased flight frequency to and from the city which also saw a remarkable 57% year-on-year growth, rising from 826 weekly flights in January 2024 to 1,293 in January 2025.
Moreover, “this growth aligns with CEB’s mission to provide more accessible travel options to passengers, especially those in the Visayas region, making it easier than ever for every Juan to foster connections and explore new destinations across the Philippines and beyond,” said Lao.
Through Cebu Pacific Air, travelers can hop from Iloilo to 14 direct routes, 12 of which are domestic cities, namely: Manila, Cebu, Clark, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Daraga, Dumaguete, General Santos, Puerto Princesa, Tacloban, Tagbilaran, and Zamboanga, and two international flights to Hong Kong and Singapore.
It also operates in 37 domestic and 26 international destinations spread across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
