Heart Forward Campaign launched by TMC Iloilo

Heart Forward Campaign was launched by The Medical City (TMC) Iloilo to enjoin everyone to commit in making Western Visayas a Heart Healthy Region.

As the Heart Care Capital of Western Visayas, TMC Iloilo’s latest Heart Care Campaign aims to promote heart health awareness and prevent cardiovascular diseases by educating the public about the importance of heart-healthy lifestyles, early detection, and access to proper medical interventions.
 
TMC Iloilo’s Heart Forward Campaign kicked-off February 12, 2025 with an interactive exhibit at Festive Walk Iloilo and activities will run until February 16.  The exhibit is highlighted with Heart Beater Challenges, life-sized photo booth, and exciting freebies.
 
Shoppers of Festive Walk Iloilo with an accumulated receipt of P1,000 from any of its tenant also gets exclusive health vouchers. The first 10 shoppers to present their P1,000 accumulated receipt from any Festive Walk Iloilo tenant on February 14, 2025 also gets a one-on-one Cardio Consultation date with TMC Iloilo Heart Care Expert. 
 
In addition, TMC Iloilo is also holding “Upbeat: Shaping the Heart Care of Western Visayas”, a forum that will gather representatives from different District Hospitals in Iloilo Province, TMC Iloilo partner hospitals in Iloilo City, and TMC Iloilo Heart Care partners in the neighboring provinces of Aklan, Capiz, and Antique to share insights and best practices on heart care.
 
It will also be bringing heart care closer to different communities through “Heart Care-Avan”, a heart care caravan in different areas wherein patients can avail of exclusive heart care bundles.
 
The launching events of TMC Iloilo’s Heart Forward Campaign will be capped with “Race for the Beat”, a fun run that will encourage the public to commit to take charge of their heart health.
 
“As heart disease continues to affect millions, it is crucial to take proactive steps toward prevention and education,” said TMC Iloilo Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Kristy Garganera-Tugbang. “Through this campaign, we hope to motivate not just our fellow healthcare providers but also the public in general to remain committed in making Western Visayas a heart-healthy region.”
