If the children are our future, what are we doing to safeguard their present conditions?
BATA AKO, a conference to be held here in Iloilo City on November 7 & 8 at Diversion 21 Hotel, poses this question and aims to shed light on the challenges as well as provide the answers to the issues that beset children’s content and welfare.
Key speakers from the Cameleon Association Inc, National Council on Children’s Television, Animation Council of the Philippines, child specialists and award-winning writers will lecture on topics concerning children’s books and literature, culture, media exposure, health, sexual abuse and children’s rights in November.
