The Marriott Bonvoy on Wheels Caravan, which embarked on its culinary journey in Manila, concluded its tour with a spectacular finale at Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo. In partnership with Ford, this unique caravan transformed the Ford Wildtrak into a Marriott Bonvoy vehicle, showcasing its versatility and allure.

The event also debuted the first test drive for the Ford Bronco, a new release, which arrived just in time to join the motorcade. Over its journey, the Marriott Bonvoy on Wheels Caravan delivered unparalleled dining experiences across the Philippines, making stops in Manila, Ortigas, Clark, Cebu, and finally in Western Visayas. The much-anticipated finale, Isla Fiesta, was a celebration hosted by Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo, Four Points by Sheraton Boracay, and Four Points by Sheraton Puerto Princesa Palawan.

Isla Fiesta was more than just a stop; it was a homage to the diverse and vibrant culture of the beautiful islands of Panay, Boracay, and Palawan. The event encapsulated the spirit of the islands through a rich display of culinary and cultural experiences. The caravan kicked off at Ford Iloilo and traversed the streets of Diversion Road, led by the Ford Wildtrak, with the General Managers of Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo, Four Points by Sheraton Boracay, and Four Points by Sheraton Puerto Princesa Palawan at the helm. The festive tribal beats welcomed the caravan back to the hotel, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.

The event was officially opened by Ms. Joy Alonte, Hotel Manager of Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo, who highlighted the power of the Marriott Bonvoy program. “We have 32 brands and over 8,900 hotels in 138 countries globally. Mr. Charley Magabo, the General Manager of Four Points by Sheraton Boracay, introduced the newest Marriott property in the Philippines and the first Marriott hotel in Boracay – Four Points by Sheraton Boracay, a premier lifestyle destination that will officially launch on August 3. General Manager of Four Points by Sheraton Palawan Puerto Princesa, Dietmar Platz, invited guests to visit their hotel and explore the UNESCO heritage sites of Puerto Princesa located just a few minutes from the property.

The evening featured a fiery Poi Dance performance by Uniqueco Nico Kalayo from the shores of White Beach, Boracay, and a vibrant cultural dance from Dinagyang Ilomination Tribe – Tribu Sagasa, showcasing Iloilo’s rich heritage. DJ Young capped the night with live performances, adding to the upbeat vibe of the occasion.

The highlight of the event was the Marriott Burger, available for only Php 800. This special offering included two Signature Marriott Burgers with fries topped with Boracay Coconut Crust and an unlimited serving of bottomless Pepsi Cola, coffee from Equilibrium Intertrade Corporation, and unlimited Best Brews craft beers from Katipunan Craft Ales and Sip Happens.
